Supporter and Guest Code of Conduct

 

FC Columbus is committed to providing an inclusive matchday experience that is safe, comfortable and enjoyable for all fans. Over the course of their matchday experience, all fans have the right to an environment where:

​

  • Fans are encouraged to cheer, sing and otherwise support their team while remaining respectful and courteous to their fellow guests, referees, opposing team players and fans.

​

  • Fans can enjoy the match experience free from fighting, thrown objects, attempts to enter the playing field, political or inciting messages, and disorderly behavior, which includes discriminatory, foul, vulgar, sexist, racial, obscene or abusive language or gestures.

​

  • Fans shall respectfully comply with requests from all staff pertaining to stadium policies and emergency response procedures. 

 

Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct may result in ejection from the stadium, being subject to arrest, and/or banishment from further events. 

​

Stadium Policies on FC Columbus Matchdays

​

  • All types of flares, incendiary devices, smoke bombs, sparklers and fireworks of any kind are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, knives, pepper spray, stun guns, concealed weapons and firearms (Regardless of Concealed Carry Permit) are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • The use of streamers and confetti during the match is not prohibited but will be kept under review. Streamers are not to be used to impact the competition and/or thrown at or toward a player, referee or stadium staff member.

​

  • No pets are allowed inside Roberts Field with the exception of certified service animals.

​

  • Outside food, beverages or coolers are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • No drones are allowed inside Roberts Field without prior approval from FC Columbus.

​

  • If not preapproved by FC Columbus, selfie sticks, professional camera equipment, tripods, etc. are prohibited inside Roberts Field.​

​

  • All noisemaking devices must be preapproved by FC Columbus prior to game day. These devices include, but are not limited to, items such as whistles, musical instruments, vuvuzelas, air horns, speakers, megaphones and other electronic sound devices.​ Noisemakers that are not preapproved will be confiscated upon entry into Roberts Field.

​

  • All types of aerosols are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • No offensive signs, banners or flags are to be displayed prior to, during, and/or after matchdays hosted in Roberts Field. If found or seen, they will be confiscated and will result in ejection.

​

  • Laser pointers/pens, skateboards, rollerblades, or non-medically prescribed wheeled devices are prohibited inside Roberts Field.

​

  • All bags and purses are subject to search upon arrival to Roberts Field.

 

Failure to adhere to these policies may result in ejection from the stadium, being subject to arrest, and/or banishment from further events.
